How The Furniture Brand Feeling, Exclusive To Designers Mark, Is Evoking Uncharted Emotions When It Comes To Designer Furniture

Our homes are filled to the brim with elements of our personal design style, and the style we choose affects our mood and everyday life. While furniture serves a functional purpose, it’s easily argued that the emotional purpose of our furniture is just as important. Feeling Furniture, , has a goal of bringing natural elements and serenity into home design. They focus on comfort, luxury touches, and quality craftsmanship to deliver collections that inspire and add character to your home.

The Comfort-Focused Design Ethos Of The Feeling brand.
Indoor design style has been studied extensively, and the results show that your design style and your personal environment have a monumental impact on your mental wellbeing and enjoyment of your home. For this, we need comfort. There are different elements of comfort that we need to consider. For example, noise and air quality levels directly impact our enjoyment of our space. Comfort within our interior design choices, such as how we use color, however, is something we can control and optimize.
Feeling has embraced comfort by looking at the natural world for design inspiration. Their designs are heavily impacted by natural landscapes, from the shapes, colors, and textures that they choose for their designs. However, they have a modern touch that elevates their design style, helping these natural inspirations feel design-forward. Natural elements are proven to help lower stress levels, and there’s no better way to bring the outside in than with nature-inspired design.
Each piece is designed with intent, with designers involved from the very first step to the last. These are markers of true luxury design, ensuring their vision is delivered effectively by the end of the process. Each line or visual element is considered, and comfort takes precedence throughout– after all, seating and beds should be comfortable first and foremost.
In terms of design style, Feeling’s furniture lines use a wide range of soft neutral tones and natural finishes, contributing to a “soft” visual appearance. When we look at a room with warm tones and smooth curves, we naturally attribute a sense of coziness to the space. It seems welcoming, both to you coming home and to any guests you entertain.
Maurício Bomfim and Studio Feeling are at the heart of Feeling’s design ethos. They have a contemporary style that pushes the design envelope and consistently evolves with trends and art world inspirations. They keep a close eye on design developments across the globe, creating pieces that feel new, natural, and grounded.
The Light And Matter Collection By Feeling
Light and Matter is Feeling’s 2026 collection, and it showcases the best their designs have to offer. Maurício Bomfim explains the collection as a “dialogue between the two forces” of light and matter– light revealing and matter giving weight. The overall impression of the collection is grounded, fresh, and soft, filled with statement pieces that ooze style. There are five sofas and chairs included in this collection, the Orla, Zípe, Mimoso, Lombada, and Eixo chair.
Orla
The Orla is a large, sculptural sofa with modular sections and sweeping curves. These soft lines extend over the entire design, even when mixing and matching each section. The sofa configurations include single seats, chaise seats, and linking and edge tables. The table sections can be finished with either wood or marble in a selection of colors to match your living room’s interior design style.
Zípe
The Zípe armchair has interesting origins. It’s designed after the gesture of closing a zipper, seen when looking at the chair’s arms. It’s available in leather upholstery, showcased in a light cream with brown and grey accents. This marbled texture can be reflected in the material you choose for the drink holder discs, with different color options available for contrast or complement.
Mimoso
Mimoso is a chair that feels whimsical and fresh. Maurício Bomfin considered memory and form as the two main elements of this piece, with memory represented in its inspiration. The shape is modeled after a teddy bear, it’s soft curves reminiscent of childhood days. The creams, silvers, and golds flecked through the piece remind the viewer of marble, making this piece stand out in rooms with the natural stone. The gentle slope of the back rest and rounded faux arms feel cozy and inspired, setting a tone for a living space designed for relaxation.
Lombada
The Lombada sofa, like the Orla, is a sectional with a low rise seat and clean lines. It’s simpler in appearance than the Orla, designed with fewer throw cushions and a more connected, seamless design. It would find a perfect home in a minimalist interior, or it could soften a space that already has enough visual intrigue. The highlight of this piece is the gap between each section, designed intentionally to draw the eye and elevate the style of the sofa. The Lombada can be built with single sections (either with straight or angled lines), corners, and ottomans.
Eixo Chair
The Eixo is showcased as a natural complement and contrast to a piece like the Mimosa chair. The Eixo chair is displayed in darker tones, with the same marbled pattern as we’ve seen in other pieces from the Light and Matter collection. The legs are made from Tauari, also known as Brazilian oak, and are available in a range of natural-tone finishes. We recommend styling this piece with furnishings like writing desks or small tables.
